"We arrived in Amsterdam as the final leg of a 17 day European vacation. Check in and out was easy, Edwin was a wealth of info and the home is spotless. We happened to be there one day that the weather was horrible - cold, rain and VERY high winds,,,a perfect crash day for us to stay inside and rest. Comfy beds. "The host was very communicative with the entire check-in and check-out process. Continuously went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The neighborhood is amazing and there is a nice restaurant close. The property was very quiet and well-maintained. The locals were super friendly and travel to Amsterdam Central was super easy. Cant express how fortunate we were to find this place!"

"This not a real studio as it does not have a bathroom neither a WC, these are outside and shared....and very old style. The location is great."

Micro Hotel Happiness

"citizenM Amsterdam South is a unique chain of hotels with a micro footprint focus. Each room has an "open" show and toilet area in the main bedroom, partitioned by a glass tube and or curtain, which takes some getting used to. The staff is stellar, I enjoyed when they called us guest "citizens". The lobby feels akin to a hostel, in that its very communal, even with the likes of business workers. Its affordable and in a good location. Watch out for all the bikes!"

"It's a lovely place with elegant rooms but most importantly, some very professional staff supporting our stay. The spa facilities were immaculate and really added to our winter break. Only gripe on this recent occasion was that our check-in was delayed, but the offers of free drinks and looking after our luggage meant that it wasn't such an issue so no stars are dropped."
