"The Hobbit House is just as unique and interesting as the photos show! Loaded with all the amenities for a comfortable stay with tv’s in every room, games galore and our favorite…. The outside fireplace and kitchen. We used it everyday and only cooked inside 1 morning. We went post Helene and grocery stores were opened and a lot of hiking trails were in the stages of clearing. We loved Grandfather Mountain park, it’s worth the entry fee. "

"We had a great day for a girls trip. The cabin was decorated very cute and was very convenient to downtown blowing rock everywhere that we need to be. The cabin was also very well equipped. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it looked very warm."

"The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily...

"If u r looking for some space to sleep and cook this will fit those needs. Nothing fancy but clean enough. Had a comfortable stay. Bedroom not great for a light sleeper because of the traffic lights and sounds 30ft outside windows. Not a very busy road so not too disruptive."

"Unfortunately we came during hurricane Helene. We had no power or water but our host was very receptive to messages and provided us with as much info as possible. Praying for all those affect in Western NC. "

"We loved everything about this place. It is on the most beautiful spot with a small creek running behind it. The deck and outdoor seating areas expand the home. The house itself fit our six perfectly, and the living room was cozy with tons of games and puzzles. We hope to come back again!"
