The location is surrounded by beautiful nature and the sound of a beautiful river. The rooms are clean and well designed, and are designed to ensure privacy so that you won't be disturbed by anyone. "It’s a small, cozy, beautiful place. Very quiet and clean. With an amazing breakfast. The owners-Mary and Tim are like parents. Very caring, super kind, always ready to help. One day i didn’t have a time to eat breakfast, so they gave me a breakfast and a lunch with me to go. Amazing place and a wonderful people. Truly recommend to everyone. "

"My wife and I stayed three nights at the Whakaipo Lodge as part of a 12 day NZ vacation. We have traveled to many countries and stayed and some wonderful venues. "The chalet is very well appointed and in good condition. I liked the cosiness but with all the conveniences and appliances you might need. What I didn't like was the reliance on previous guests to make the place clean and ready for the next guests, with no obvious thorough check in between.
