"Cleaning staff had done a great job of cleaning the house. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels and soaps. Easy check in and check out process. Do not park on the street in the front. The city is very strict. "

"I chose this property based on the "Rooms & Beds" large type in the listing, since we were bringing 4 grandchildren ages 10-16 who don't like to sleep with each other. Two days before we were to arrive, I reviewed the entire listing, and opened up the small "see more" at the bottom of the listing, only to find that the bed listing there was totally different for 2 of the 4 bedrooms. "The property is 3 levels with spiral staircases. 1) Downstairs "livingroom" area with sofas and TV. Washer/dryer also located there. We didn't spend much time in this room since there was no bathroom on that level 2) Second floor has the queen bed (comfy), kitchen and bathroom. This is where we spent 95% of our time. "The staff is very friendly and always makes me feel at home. The suites are spacious and attractive as well as functional with full kitchens. The gym is big enough, and kept at a cool temperature, which is much better than most hotel gyms. But this spring stay was disappointing. They had switched their HVAC system to Cooling, and it couldn't heat, even though it was quite chilly. I wasn't warned before booking, and not even when I registered at the desk. Formal & comfortable hotel in a quiet neighborhood

"I arrived hours before their standard check-in time, but they were still able to get me into a room right away. My king room was not huge, but still had plenty of space, an elegant bathroom, and a comfy wingback chair plus ottoman as well as a desk and separate chair. My only complaint is that the room's outlets are awkwardly placed, so for a traveler with lots of devices that need charging, or if you wanted to work from the bed or the armchair while plugged in, your choices are limited. The hotel is within walking distance of some cute eateries, and the area is otherwise fairly residential."
