"Extremely helpful and friendly, the manager was full of great advice and arranged a seaplane flight over the Doubtful Sound - unforgettable. A lovely, quirky and laid back place to stay. Full of character and fun, and some interesting/delightful room options topped with a fabulous breakfast. We’ll definitely be back and will try to get the railway carriage!"

"I can’t say enough good things about Shakespeare House! We stayed here after coming to Te Anau late from the Milford Sound area. With notice, the owners made arrangements for us to check in after-hours. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the owners were so kind and gave us some great tips for what to see and do during the next leg of our journey. Highly recommend this B&B! "
