"It could have been great… the apartment is nicely updated and tidy, but DIRTY! The good news is, this is an easy fix and I hope the homeowner will take heed. The bathrooms and kitchen were dirty and full of the homeowner’s personal items-weird and gross! Additionally, the beds were like sleeping on a slabs of granite! We stayed two nights, and between the dirty bathrooms and uncomfortable beds, we couldn’t have faced another night! "

"The owner did not communicate at all. My friend and I sat outside of someone's home for 45 min waiting for an access code that never came because despite us being at the address listed and the building being the same in the pictures, the resident had no idea what was going on. At least I got my money back after my reservation was canceled by the owner AFTER our check in time - leaving us stranded in a far away city with nowhere to stay. This experience ruined my trip to San Francisco. Stay away."

"This cute little hotel is located very close to the Chinatown gates, bus stops, restaurants. There is a little market up the road for some groceries and cold wine/beer. The pub next door has good food. It is an older building with a narrow winding staircase, but it does have an elevator. It does not have that old building smell, though! The room is spacious with large openable windows (no A/C). The sofabed in this suite is incredibly uncomfortable and needs replacing. Fortunately I only had to...

"As much as I hate leaving a negative review, I feel I have to. The listing makes the rooms look clean, but they’re disgusting and ours had a window leading to a ledge right outside the window that anyone could have come onto and broken in. No hot water, even after running it for five minutes. No Wi-Fi. Rude manager."
