"We have been coming to Silverstrand for 30 years and love the nice cool beach and quaint neighborhood. We loved this beach house and would absolutely stay there again. It is basic, uncluttered, a little worn but comfortable. The kitchen is pretty small and the cookware is old but it’s all functional. The house gets a little warm but the owners provide large fans and with the windows and doors open it cools off very nicely. The bathrooms are nice and the outside shower was great for rinsing off...

"The area has no internet or phone reception, making it difficult to check in. I believe the host should have informed us of this in advance. Parking is available on the street across from the house, so be sure to check. The house is beautiful and filled with vintage furniture, but the toilet and kitchen are connected by a sliding door. "We enjoyed our stay at this property. Seems a bit pricey but that could be because it was Ojai. We had some issues with heating and rusty garden chairs. Property could use some rugs and better furniture. Garden and grounds well kept. Host responded promptly to our questions. Neighborhood is very quiet and safe."

"Kerstan is the BEST host we’ve ever had! We have stayed at many VBRO properties & this was a great find. Super clean, greatly stocked kitchen, TV with streaming of all options one could want. I’m a big walker & neighborhood is very safe with lots of challenging hills. Host was very responsive to all request."
