"Overall our stay here was pretty good. The location was good for going into town and also only a short walk from the bus stop for the slopes. The apartment is quite small, especially if using the fold out sofa bed. It wasn’t the cleanest either. Still find it bizarre that you have to pay additional money to rent the bedding and towels, but ah well. Bear in mind the block is mostly full of locals so if that’s an issue for you then don’t expect there to be many other tourists staying nearby. "

"We had a great holiday. Good location and good size for family of four with small children. Everything you need. Just be aware the bed linen and towels are not provided and you need to bring your own or rent. But we were made aware of this and it was not an issue. The only other small things is the wifi was not very consistent for us. That was not really a big issue, but might be if you really needed it for work etc. Thanks for a great holiday!"

"The property was in a lovely location, and was as described. I suspect we were the first family in for a while, because we had to do a bit of cleaning of cobwebs etc but it was generally clean and in good condition with nice touches. The bed was very comfortable, one of the best we have slept on in any rental apartment but the sunloungers looked ready to fall to bits at any moment. Overall we were really happy with it and wouldnt hesitate to return."

Our biggest frustration was with Gael the owner. €190 worth of extra costs, were not detailed until after our booking, and the host threatened to cancel if we didn't pay them. "Good stay in Chamonix. Check-in at 1700hrs is quite late and ahould be revised. As a seasoned traveler this is the first time I've ever seen such a late check-out followed by a 1000hrs check-out. Grateful that the check-out was extended to 1100hrs and yes the check-in time is indicated when making the selection for the hotel but just unfortunete. Overall nice stay at Balcon de Savoy."
