My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Freddie Mercury Hotel. It is conveniently located next to the Montreux train station, within walking distance of restaurants, the hotel was comfortable and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend to others.

The Freddie Mercury Hotel offered good value and it’s the training facility for a local hospitality school. Location is excellent for walking around Montreux and taking the train as the station is less than 5 mins walk away. Having secure parking downstairs inside the hotel was a big bonus.

Best place to stay in Montreux. So easy toAccess the hotel from platform 1 and rooms are extra ordinary. Most rooms have the best view but the ones on the 5th floor, room 523 had spectacular views. Staff , food etc were great!

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Spotlessly clean. We were travelling by train and the proximity to Montreux Train station was excellent. Walk to the end of Platform 1 and you are there. We hope to come back again one day.

Great location. Right at train station platform 1, so very convenient for those riding train. Clean. Nice amenities and extras, like bottled water, Coffee and tea in room with a tea kettle. They even had umbrellas in room for rainy days. Great room with patio, however weather didn't cooperate. Friendly staff. Mattress was a little dipped in middle. Overall, a great stay!

We chose this hotel due to its location, availability of a comfortable room with four to sleep, and link to Freddie Mercury. It is basically right at the train station - a key reason why we chose it - but the noise from the trains in the late night and early morning made it impossible to sleep uninterrupted. Had I known about the train noise, we could have bought those new headphones designed to be worn when sleeping and would have been fine.

We booked this hotel as it was listed with airconditioned. However, it is not and the room was uncomfortably warm. Luckily the frontdesk was able to borrow us a old fashioned fan. Location of hotel is good. Hotel is new or refurbished but amenities are quite basic. Will not book here again.
