"We previously stayed at the apartment in 2018 and had been really impressed by the location, the quality of the apartment and the check in process, so were keen to re-book this year when coming back to Avoriaz. "5 of us stayed here for a boys ski trip. It is a lovely apartment. It is brighter than it looks in the photos, and fairly spacious given the location. You can ski down to the village, and it's only a short walk back at the end of the day. The room specs are slightly confusing - but there are 3 separate bedrooms, plus a foldaway and a sofa bed in the shared space. It was plenty of room for us. Finally, Frederic did everything we needed as a host - thank you!"

Our biggest frustration was with Gael the owner. €190 worth of extra costs, were not detailed until after our booking, and the host threatened to cancel if we didn't pay them. It is also not clear that there is no bedding included, which would cost the 3 of us €80. The value for money is still not too bad, but it would have been good to know about the charges when we were booking. The building's lift did...

"Great for our skiing group. The apartment is small but if you’re out all day that doesn’t matter. A short walk to the main shops/restaurants and an even shorter walk to the ski rental shop. It’s definitely ski out not ski in (but you can ski to within a short walk of the apartment block). The ski locker is only a ski locker without room for boots as well. Well equipped kitchen (although no kettle) with plenty of crockery and cutlery. The dishwasher is small so expect to run it twice a day....

"The apartment has everything you need for a week skiing as a family with young children, it’s small but well organized and very well equipped. However its major advantage is the location. It’s right there in the middle of the station, literally in front of the Carrefour and next to a wide range of shops and restaurants and a very short ski slide to the teleski to take you to the main ski areas. Communication with Cedric/Sandra was excellent. We would return for sure."
