"Lovely older hotel. Bedroom was well appointed and had a fireplace. It was walking distance to restaurants and the historic area. Staff very good. Breakfast room was a bit dark and dreary as it was in the basement."

"It snowed the weekend we were there, but still enjoyed going down to the barn to spend time with the horses. They are amazing. Disappointed by the breakfast/meals that were included. We couldn't go far because of the snow, so we were limited and the meals were disappointing. Thank God they had snacks !!! The cook/ kitchen manager appeared to not want to be there and it was evident in the food she served and her general attitude (unwelcoming)."

"Check in would be easier with a keypad, but it was nice to meet the owner and her daughter. It is an older home, but some updates have been made. The house was very nostalgic for us. I would recommend having some more blankets for beds and throw blankets for the living room and den. "

"We had a delightful stay at the lake house. The house was clean and well-supplied. Everything was in good working order. Lake access was excellent and I really enjoyed watching the sun rise over the lake each morning through the large picture windows. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and dock. Thank you Gail and John."
