"Stunning location! This feels like a home that a family has been very happy to have for decades and they've decided to share some of the joy and coziness of the property with others. The property is well maintained and situated on a peninsula on a lake that is gorgeous even when completely frozen. As soon as we got through the door we could immediately relax. Wonderful fireplace, comfortable beds..we were happy with this choice. "

"The house is sprawling, plenty of first floor room, and a top level apartment was great for a family’s needing their own space. The rooms were comfortable and each had a lake view. The kitchen pantry was well stocked with little extras, and there was plenty of fridge storage with two refrigerators. The lake is set behind the house with a huge yard that accommodates many games. The dock and swimming area were tidy, and they had plenty of water boats (boards,kayaks,canoes) and life preservers....

"This home was cozy and comfortable for a group of 8 and perfect for our pets who enjoyed the outdoors and gated space. The Hot tub was an huge bonus after long days of skiing. Easily accessible from main road so you don’t have to travel on many snow covered side roads and short drive to Smugglers Notch. . We are looking forward to our next trip back. "

The cottage is within walking distance to the local grocery store and several eateries. Also perfectly distanced to other VT spots like Stowe or Burlington...which was about 1 hour driving to each.. Kids loved a day at the Pumphouse Waterpark which was 15 mins away. Overall, perfect location, amenities and environment to take in Vermont's...

"Was looking for a place to house 9 guys. Bedrooms and double kitchens made this the destination spot to ski Stowe and Jay Peak for the weekend. The extra large common area and two dining room tables made this the perfect social area after a day of skiing. Kitchens fully furnished supported breakfast and dinner every night. Two refrigerators allowed a single supermarket trip to carry us 5 days. Will return when skiing in the area,"

"On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side:...

"We were highly impressed with the location of the cabin. Upon our arrival in early January, we were greeted by a picturesque winter scene that exceeded our expectations. The cabin itself was exactly as depicted in the photos, having all the indoor/outdoor space was a huge plus and the communication with the owner was outstanding from the moment of booking through to our departure. We highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to return in the future."
