"The house is situated at the end of a point on lovely Lake Eden. We felt like we had the lake all to ourselves to enjoy in the mid-winter! We had a glorious sunny day to play outdoors with our dog, and the house was cozy and warm. We used the wood fireplace for ambiance and happily read our books. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances all work well. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms clean. The mudroom entrance is perfect for wet boots and all of your gear. "Excellent property for a family getaway. It is right by the river which makes it unique. Big enough to accommodate a bigger family or multi-family vacation. The cottage is within walking distance to the local grocery store and several eateries. Also perfectly distanced to other VT spots like Stowe or Burlington...which was about 1 hour driving to each.. "We had an awesome stay at this property. The home is well equipped and everything is intuitive. We did not need to contact the owners for any needs or questions during the stay. The property was clean, comfortable and well-furnished. Our pets were very happy there. The set up of the home is great for skiers - the entrance from the driveway is a lower floor that is heated and great for placing boots/equipment away from the general living/communal areas. "This was a great condo. Very spacious and well-stocked. Lots of room for our large group- 6 adults and 4 kids. Nice touched like boot driers and sound machines in every room. Great access to the mountain- we skied right off the deck! I highly recommend this place. "

"Place is great! Suzie is wonderful to work with. Sits on the lower slope that has access by a double chair that runs all day, and does not require a lift ticket. We had a more advanced group head up to hit the more challenging terrain up top, and another that enjoyed the leisure of the double chair who didn't want to spend the 115 lift ticket. Perfect set up for a diverse group of skiiers/snowboarders. Snow conditions were A. "

"The property was nice but unfortunately our sheets were covered in dog hair and dirt/hair all over the bed. When I contacted the host he said it was from the cleaners, however the sheets also smelt of someone else’s body odor… someone dropped off new sheets for us—the guests—to put on ourselves. When we did this we saw the mattress protector that was also filthy. On top of this the shower only had FREEZING cold water so we had to use the outdoor shower on the property for our entire stay....

There are plenty of bed for a big group, though (as the pictures show) they are somewhat oddly located. The floors in some parts of the unit are heated, which is delightful! My kids kept laying on the floor to get warm. The hosts were welcoming and helpful throughout the visit. One notable complaint is that the stairs leading down to the unit were pretty treacherous in the snow. My parents...
