"Tofo was super dirty, garbage in the room, used tampons under the bed, the bathroom was terribly dirty, there was no toilet paper. Additionally, the area where the hostel is located was dirty, and looked dangerous. I do not recommend staying at this hostel. It's cheap but I wouldn't stay here again."

"I appreciated the inclusion of a complimentary breakfast at this hostel, it was the first hostel I've stayed in that it was available every morning and not just the first day. My only critique about the breakfast was the lack of food group variety. 2 bagel options were great and variety of oatmeal was great, but with so much grain/bread options it would be nice to have a fresh fruit option such as bananas, orange, apples or even a fruit cup or fruit sauce, maybe even some individually packed...

"I enjoyed my stay, I did go and purchase cleaning agents because I felt I needed it to be up to standards I felt comfortable with. I slept in a dormitory style room with three other people. I slept in the bottom bunk it was comfortable, for more privacy I had use a light blanket and a yard of cloth that I hung from the upper bunk that draped down to give me that barrier of privacy. The sheets , pillow and comforter were clean. I would say check your mattress, prior to sleeping in it not for bed...

"Parking was difficult. First time at a hostel in my life. The floors were creaky, and the only way to get in is through stairs, so be prepared to climb. No elevator. It was really cute and the employee was nice. The thing I would want them to really work on is cleanliness. The sheets and pillow I slept in had stains and was a little dirty with whoever was sleeping’s hair. The bathrooms should have been cleaned more often. "As I said before I appreciate that it’s available because housing and lodging , very expensive. Nowadays we need to be frugal and practical. My time is spent mostly at work so all I need is a safe place to sleep. It’s not for everyone. The extra large bed is the only sort of private space I have , the rest is shared."

" day we arrived, with the hotel citing a ‘Force Majeure’ due to weather—even though there was no inclement weather. When we called to understand the situation, we were met with an unhelpful response. It took assistance from Hotels.com to secure a refund, as the hotel claimed they weren’t liable due to their ‘Force Majeure’ policy. Very disappointed with how this was handled and the lack of transparency."
