"The owner met us to check us in, but returned that evening while we were eating. Having interrupted the meal he wanted 300euros in cash as a deposit. He said he'd return next day. However, by then we realised that the downstairs toilet and drains were blocked as were 2 of the upstairs showers. There was no hot water in some. "Two familes had a lovely week at this beautiful house. Hot tub was great and the pool was very welcome during the hot days. It's not a huge pool and only a meter deep but did the job. The house and grounds are really well maintained. Cats are lovely and not bothersome. Gaspare, Christoff and Raquel are all very helpful. I would really recommend this Villa for a peaceful break away from it all. "

"Villa Eleanora is in quite a lovely location convenient to many sites in Umbria. The facilities were very well taken care of and clean. The outdoor terrace and pool areas were really lovely. The inside could use a little updating especially the kitchen area. Also more lighting would help. All in all quite a nice experience. "

"We were 7 adults all over 50 years old. There were ample bedrooms and baths. We used the villa primarily as a base to get out and see Umbria, e.g., Todi, Spoleto, Spello, Assisi, Montefalco, Orvieto. The villa is much too nice just to be used as a base, it has great views on a large, beautiful property with many sitting and lying possibilities. Gian is the best host possible, always ready to assist, advise, recommend, AND available. A great place and a wonderful host."

The local pizzeria was very good and not expensive. Priests and her partner were very helpful and looked after us well. A very relaxing holiday but very hot in Augusta’s one downside is no air conditioning. "

"We were looking for an area off the normal tourist track and definitely found it here in Moricone. Beautiful country side, my only negative was there was a dreadful smell coming from the laundry, some form of sewer problem says the plumber in our group other than that the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked if small but a lovely quiet location"

We loved the location away from crowds but close enough to get to every where in Umbria for day trips. If you are traveling in the summer, just be aware there is no air conditioning. "Fantastic location with stunning views. Property located in spacious gardens with good sized swimming pool which was well maintained. Bathrooms were disappointing with showers that were barely big enough to get into. Kitchen very small and not very clean with inefficient fridge/freezer that had seen better days. "We had a great time at Anat's place. The location is incredible, the views from the property amazing. The beds are comfortable, there's plenty of space and the area is very quiet. Anat is a wonderful host, very attentive and quick to respond. The house was incredibly well stocked, no need to run searching for supplies on your arrival. We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend the place!"
