"We were 7 adults all over 50 years old. There were ample bedrooms and baths. We used the villa primarily as a base to get out and see Umbria, e.g., Todi, Spoleto, Spello, Assisi, Montefalco, Orvieto. The villa is much too nice just to be used as a base, it has great views on a large, beautiful property with many sitting and lying possibilities. Gian is the best host possible, always ready to assist, advise, recommend, AND available. A great place and a wonderful host."

However, by then we realised that the downstairs toilet and drains were blocked as were 2 of the upstairs showers. There was no hot water in some. "This was a great property for extended family. Lots of interesting places within an our and also some authentic Italian villages to explore nearby. The local pizzeria was very good and not expensive. Priests and her partner were very helpful and looked after us well. A very relaxing holiday but very hot in Augusta’s one downside is no air conditioning. "

Beautiful country side, my only negative was there was a dreadful smell coming from the laundry, some form of sewer problem says the plumber in our group other than that the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked if small but a lovely quiet location"

We loved the location away from crowds but close enough to get to every where in Umbria for day trips. If you are traveling in the summer, just be aware there is no air conditioning. "We had a great time at Anat's place. The location is incredible, the views from the property amazing. The beds are comfortable, there's plenty of space and the area is very quiet. Anat is a wonderful host, very attentive and quick to respond. The house was incredibly well stocked, no need to run searching for supplies on your arrival.
