"House was beautifully well equipped, immaculately clean and tidy. It’s in an excellent location only 15 minutes from Carcassonne but with absolute peace and quiet. Local pool in the Village was great in the heat. The local butcher carries bread, pastries, preserves and lovely wine, not forgetting meat. Laurence was wonderful with ideas of where to visit, and was available for anything we needed but otherwise very discreet."

"Great location by the Canal du Midi, which has a cycle route alongside. We cycled in both directions, and another day took the bikes by car to cycle further away. Also good access to Carcassonne and supermarkets by car. Comfortable gite, looks just like the photos. Enough kitchen equipment and a three-ring induction hob for eating in. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable, relaxing holiday with friendly advice from Philippe and Corinne and not forgetting their 2 gorgeous boxer dogs. "I wanted something different than the ordinary. I was struck by the photos and descriptions. Even though a wide angle lens was used, but I knew that. The house was nicely furnished with virtually all one could need in the kitchen. My sister and I are both over 70 and the stairs were a bit challenging as they were steep. The WC is on the bottom floor only so keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. But that is very clear in the information. Our hostess was very kind and available!!...

"We had a wonderful stay here, the place is centrally located amongst the vineyards. The settings is private and well appointed. We laid out at night on the loungers watching the stars. As it is located in the countryside the night sky was an amazing display of bright stars. Easy drive to Carcassonne or the Mediterranean. The town of la liviniare is close 5min drive with two restaurants. The host was welcoming and helpful on things to do in the region. We enjoyed our stay and would come again."
