"Great base for exploring the area. A dark sky area so perfect for looking at the stars in the evening. We generally explored during the day and cooked our meals in the evening."

"We were an extended family - grandparents,parents, children and teenagers. We travelled by train and had no car. The house is spacious - plenty of room for all. Great kitchen and dining spaces. Superb shops for all needs, especially lots of organic and local farm produce. Wonderful wild swimming and energetic walks around Mt Lozere. Easy train travel to Nimes, Villefort and surrounding villages. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"This spacious property was a converted old French farmhouse with fantastic views across the countryside. Very rural -but not easy to find even with Sat-nav. Pool was a great asset as were the trees and flowers around the property. Unfortunately we were not blessed with good weather apart from the first couple of days. "The gite was very clean and comfortable, and everything was provided that we needed. The owner, Fabien, was very helpful, before and during the holiday, offering suggestions of places to visit and telling us about the history of the region.Great hospitality was shown to us. We appreciated our visits to both local and regional venues such as Nimes,Uzes, and the Cevennes National Park, and the pool was a great asset to us on very hot afternoons. "The cottage was lovely and exceeded our expectations. There are lots of beautiful trails for hiking and running close by and you can get local produce in the area. Host and hostess were super welcoming and accommodating, answered any questions and helped when needed!! Would recommend anyone to stay here."

"This property was perfect for our needs and very much as described on the website. The kitchen was well equipped, the lounge and bedroom comfortable and the outside garden space a lovely place to relax. The town is very pretty with lovely riverside walks and opportunities for fishing. There were plenty of cafes, small shops and an excellent supermarket nearby. Living next door, the host was very helpful. The area itself was great for walking, picnics, fishing and we found different places to go...
