"Was a lovely place to sleep for the night. The drive up was an eye opener but once we were there, we felt like we went back in time. Unfortunately it was raining all day so we couldn't walk the gardens or the pool but they looked amazing. The only dinner option was their restaurant which was a bit expensive but otherwise a great experience."

Our only criticism is that we we’re originally told the restaurant would be open the first night we were there and it wasn’t. Instead we got a “pizza party” this was fine except the cost was not presented to us prior. The pool was also closed early due to a wedding. The staff is lovely, the food at the in-house restaurant is great. And definitely get a bottle of the house red (it’s amazing). You will not be sorry you made this journey. "
