"Beautiful property. We did horseback riding which was a highlight and the cooking class was fantastic. The pool was relaxing and beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable- literally felt like home!! We would go there again for sure. Incredibly relaxing experience."

"The amenities are great- pool, spa, wine tasting. The staff are friendly and were very helpful getting reservations set up."

"Location, accommodation, and host were 5 star. When we arrived, Antonella had pasta, sauce and fresh homebaked bread for us. The view from the property was amazing, the beds were incredibly comfortable and everything was very clean. One thing that is probably a "lost in translation" is a reference to a hot tub/jacuzzi. We did not see one, but it did have a tub in one of the bathrooms (which we used). Overall, a dream escape in Tuscany!"

"This place is a gem. The location and staff are amazing. The room is nice and with a private bathroom. In addition, the restaurant has AMAZING dishes and incredible wine. I would consider this restaurant at a Micheline Level. The location to drive around Tuscany is perfect and they provide bikes for riding around the area. "A beautiful old castle that has been completely refurbished/modernized on the inside, sitting on a beautiful property with nearby forests, vineyards, and olive groves. After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence, the serenity here was perfection. We stayed in the 'deluxe double room' which was absolutely fantastic. We arranged a vespa rental and rode through the countryside to the nearby Castellina in Chianti and cute hilltop town and took a wonderful cooking class at Taverna...

"This was an absolute highlight of our trip. The castle is beautiful and incredibly well kept. The proprietor visited our table one morning, at the beautiful breakfast they offered, and gave us some fantastic history of the property and the upgrades she has made to the castle and the grounds. Nothing short of excellent!"

"What an amazing place! Volpaia is a unique venue, in a beautiful setting and it was a joy to stay there. Our room was lovely- comfortable, clean and with a stunning view- even from the loo! The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good - in short we could fault our stay at Castello di Volpaia."

"If you're looking for a place that's quiet and off the beaten path this is it! Set in the beautiful country side, the scenery and gorgeous views itself will calm even the most turbulent mind! "The Apt was great and clean. It has a kitchen with pots, silverware, plates glasses, microwave oven, stove, coffee machine etc. Great view from the terrace. Very comfortable beds. Good Wi-Fi. Walkable to all museums and restaurants. The check in was as scheduled and friendly. A great place to come back. "

A wonderful hotel in Florence.

"We had an excellent stay: we will certainly return, and would recommend the hotel to anyone. It has a wonderful location, with beautiful views of the Arno and the Duomo. The breakfast was very good indeed, with lovely cereals, scrambled eggs, fruit and so on. The staff were charming and helpful. My one criticism would be that the shower was very tricky - the water was either icy or scaldingly hot. All in all, a special and delightful hotel!"

"We meet here for three days with a group of friends. Two of us had cars so the hotel parking was convenient. Cost was €25 per night to park. The hotel was a wonderful calm oasis in the middle of a bustling city. The staff were excellent. They provided great restaurant recommendations, made great coffee in the morning and cocktails at the other end of the day. 10/10"
