"Wonderful outdoor space, the best pool we have had in a property. Kitchen extremely well equipped and plenty of space in the property for 2 plus our dog. Not far from the village, although best done by car in the very hot weather we experienced, as the walk is very undulating. We really didn’t want to leave and nor did doggo!"

"We were met at the villa on arrival and given recommendations for restaurants, supermarkets, patisseries and butchers. The villa is exactly as it looks on the website. You definitely need a car here but Mougin (amazing place with loads of restaurants) is only 5 mins away. The hosts were great, we only needed them for check in and departure, but they responded immediately. I would highly recommend this villa and was perfect for our party of 3 couples."

"Cute little house with everything in it. Linen is not included & no towels. Double bedroom on ground floor with a wardrobe you can't close the doors as it isn't attached to the wall. Double bed on open mezzanine access via a ladder & crawl to the bed which was ok for our teenager. "We found La Bastide to outshine any expectations. In summary: authentic historic property (as rustic as you could get!); spacious living quarters and massive, accommodating outside spaces; a sense of entire privacy within the grounds; stunning views (in particular while lazing about the wonderful pool); remote enough, nestled in the hills above the charming village - a 20 min walk to amenities. Cooking in the well stocked kitchens, swimming in the warm pool, relaxing on the outside couches, drinking wine… heaven on Earth. The home was so lovely that we rarely left- content to relax in the beauty of the old architecture and gardens. "This property is a very lovely house with beautiful spacious gardens and a wonderful pool. Everything we could wish for was provided and all in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants and bars and easy travelling by public transport to to coast. All communication with the host was easy and with prompt responses.
