"I don't want to say how lovely it was at this gite as I want to be able to book again when we're next in the area! Very friendly owners, around to help if needed otherwise they leave you alone. Huge flat gardens with lovely flowers/trees and shrubs. Plenty of garden furniture and places to sit and eat out, sunbathe or chill in the shade. "We had a fabulous holiday at Mas de la Rivière. The house is spacious and well-equipped and the private and partially shady terrace with its beautiful trees and wisteria-covered outdoor dining space was a godsend on the hottest of days. We enjoyed the beautiful clean pool and after-dinner boules on the floodlit pitch in the garden. "The Chateau exceeded all of our expectations. We are a group of 13 friends who have travelled a few times together and Mas des Pampres was perfect. We all had so much space inside and outside to be together or alone. The chateau was extremely well equipped for anything. Quite amazing. We plan to come back. "

"A very pleasant one week stay in August. Very calm and peaceful (which was what we wanted), lots of space to walk around the grounds with fruit trees, vines, and the occasional deer. The house is very luminous, spacious and comfortable, and Jill and Craig offer a warm welcome, and are helpful and attentive. Plenty to see in the surrounding area (Pays Basque, Béarn, Landes)."

"We had a fabulous week, we were met by the lovely Florence when we arrived who showed us around and explained the property. The photographs online do not really do it justice and it exceeded our expectations.The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and all bathrooms had a hairdryer. The separate laundry room with an additional refrigerator was a bonus. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The beautiful garden was huge and well maintained with stunning views over the valley....

"Nous avons passé nos fête de fin d'année dans cette jolie fermette. La ferme a été entièrement rénovée cette année alliant tradition et modernité. Les soirées au coin du feu sont réconfortantes au coeur de l'hiver. "Stayed in the upstairs appartment which run the length of the building .Very well equipped with washing machine and a dish washer,a welcome surprise. The pool is in a secluded garden location. Negatives Our end bedroom had a strange en suite bathroom arrangement. A screen instead of a wall. A Jack n Jill sink taking up space that could have been used for a toilet and single sink. A bit odd!."

"We found this apartment excellent value, clean, spacious (for 2) and the garden with plunge pool is a real bonus. Christian and Steward were welcoming and clearly want their guests to have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Connaux is conveniently located, allowing easy access to the attractions of the area."
