"The condo is quite spacious, more than expected. We enjoyed the modern touches and private parking is a big plus in downtown Frederick. So close to Carroll Creek and Market St. The hosts are responsive. We highly recommend staying at Gideon Getaways! "

"A gem of a townhouse where family could get together. Furnishings and appliances are high end and practically new. The house was newly painted with classic furnitures.It’s in a quiet neighborhood. Joshua , the owner is very attentive with any needs and concerns we might have. Next time we are in this part of Maryland, we would be happy to book this townhouse again. We really had a great time. It felt like home."

"Rented the house as a basecamp for the weekend for my team and I as we were filming a short film, needed rooms for a couple people. Steve's place was true to the photos- lovely home in a convenient locale in a safe area, plenty of street parking, fast wifi, bath towels for guest use, several rooms. Steve was laid back and super helpful with answering my many questions. My group had a great weekend and enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend if you're in the area, would stay again! "

"This cabin was easy to find, with off-street parking, and near the beautiful downtown area. I travelled with individuals with disabilities and found the spacious layout very accommodating to our needs. The bathrooms, common room, kitchen, and bedrooms gave it the cabin vibe, were comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. "We came in and needed a house to stay at for Thanksgiving. The house was a described, had big rooms, and the kitchen was good size too make a Thanksgiving meal. I was also happy with how close it was to grocery stores and restaurants. Great place to stay. "

"Unfortunately we happened to stay when there was a wind storm in the county so we lost power, water and heat for the night. We texted the host to check on candles and/or flashlights but were told to “just use our phones”. (Not really an option when you’ve been traveling all day and phones are almost dead). "The house was great, location was perfect for a weekend visit with my grandparents and listing was as described. We had some issues with bugs, mostly sugar ants, but we let the host know so hopefully that gets rectified for future visitors "
