"This was our 3rd visit to Idyll Suites and we are not normally people to return somewhere. Pool deck and sun beds are awesome, restaurant is great & right next door is a small supermarket and a handful of restaurants. We took the bus to Mogán a couple of times - the stops were 200 metres from the hotel. Room was excellent and balcony perfect. Really a wonderful hidden gem on Gran Canaria (& the transfer by taxi from the airport takes about 40 mins.) "

"We have just returned from an 8-night stay at this hotel and it was absolutely amazing. We arrived late in the evening, just 15 min before the restaurant was about to close. "Basic apartment but provided everything we needed. Excellent power shower and double sinks were good. We didn’t select a room with a terrace and didn’t miss it as went to beach each day - 30 minute steady pace walk away. Lack of receptionist wasn’t ideal but was able to telephone number posted on wall and they sent someone over. Rooftop pool area was clean and never had many people at it. Includes to Cabana type beds at no cost. Location is around half way between sea level and very top....

"We had a lovely stay at the apartments. Everything was great. Apartments themselves were great, we had paid bit more for the one with aircon. Just to be aware there are lots of stairs to get to rooms. Lift everywhere so you can always get to it but it takes time so we mostly walked as we didn’t mind that. Curasol is in the perfect location, quiet with beautiful views of the bay and the Spar supermarket and plenty of restaurants and bars just a 2 minute walk away. "We were on half board basis and we made a huge mistake because food was terrible. We had only 1 breakfast and 1 dinner and all other days we had to eat somewhere else.
