The house itself is next to a large sakura, in the middle of a middle-class quiet non-touristic neighborhood, 5 minutes by foot from a seibu line station. "The host Keita is very nice and kind! He provided any help we need regarding our stay. We kept communicating with him via Whatsapp and Vrbo, and he answers whenever we have inquiries.The 2 connected rooms we lived in can accommodate a total of 3 people. There are 2 aircon with cooling and heating so the room are warm despite the almost freezing temperature outside. There is also a hanger where we can hang our jackets and towels. The room is quite spacious compared to other hotels in Tokyo....

"Modern three storey town house with three bedrooms! Great place for a large party! Very comfortable and 10-12 minute walk from local Shinjuku stations. 20 minutes to Shibuya crossing! Very responsive, kind and understanding host. Host was extremely accommodating and was flexible to change our dates last minute, when typhoon in Okinawa uprooted our trip plans. Can’t recommend this place enough!"

"Mr. Kusunoki is such a pleasant man. He sent us the best routes to get to places on multiple occasions, and shared with us many spots to go. He used his many connections to get us discounts on watches, and informed us the cheapest way to buy train tickets, and amusement park tickets. "First time for us in Japan. We chose this listing mainly for the location and how many it could accommodate. It was only a few minutes walk to the train station as well as 7/11, Family Mart and places to eat. The unit itself could’ve been cleaner and in need of upkeep. The trash receptacles were labeled but faded which made it confusing. We also did not anticipate the narrow flights of stairs as it was not fully described in the listing. I would not recommend if you’re traveling with a toddler...

"Very small, very steep stairway. Okay position. Near Opera; one stop from Shinjuku Station; only one sink i.e. the kitchen, washing machine but no dryer. Had a decibel metre in the house checking for noise. All manageable but then got a note to say that we had 'stained' the pillow case. Got sent pictures and a bill for extra cleaning. As far as I can tell, it was some mascara off my make-up which should come out in a wash and, given they're white sheets, a bleach. Thank heavens we hadn't...
