"This property hovers practically in the clouds above Pinhão at a dramatic bend in the Douro River. The pictures on the web site cannot do it justice. It is so magnificent. There is little close by in terms of restaurants but the wonderful people at the residence will prepare a charcuterie plate and/ or salad that you can take as you watch the sunset. They also have good Douro wine available on site at a reasonable cost. For us this was unbeatable."

If you come by car you have to park a bit away, but no more than 5 min walk and the rates ina beautiful underground lots are reasonable. José is a wonderful host - always responsive and available.
