"I loved my stay at River Song. I was offered an upgrade for no charge upon my arrival. The family who owns River Song were so friendly and kind and welcoming. They made me feel like a member of the family. The property was beautiful and well maintained, and my cabin sat right on Mindo River. The family helped me arrange transportation and helped with tour information. I would definitely stay at River Song again!"

"This lodge is located off the beaten track. It takes about 20 min to get here from Mindo on a narrow dirt road. The accommodation is basic but nice. Staff is small but very attentive. My cabin was spacious with one queen sized bed and three single beds (two of them in a loft). Nature around the lodge is beautiful."

"The one big plus about this property is the dinning area. Here you can see all kind of birds including tucans. What I didn’t like about this property: -the treehouse is cool, I like the experience but it definitively need some maintenance. It is the most expensive room they offer and the worst one. There was a whole in my wall, the mosquitos ate me alive every night (I was using bug spray, it was just not enough) and they say they have hot water… well they don’t, so welcome freezing showers....

"Pésimo hotel, nos dejaron solos toda la noche sin ningún funcionario del hotel. A las 8 am sed suponía estaba el desayuno y no había nadie. La habitación son tres cañas y un baño, no hay closet, agua caliente o señal de celular. Pésimo hotel, caro y sin nada de servicio "
