"Great property for fishing, whether you fish from the dock or you float down the Juniata river. We happened to do both and the fishing was very good, especially when we canoe floated from the end of the Lewistown Narrows to Mifflintown (approx. 4 miles). The property is located at about the 3 mile mark of that float. The other thing we loved about the property was that it was a great place for sitting around a fire at night and having a few beers. "Our stay was awesome. It was a little warm upstairs. Luckily we didn't need the bedroom on the 3rd floor as it would have been quite warm. The shower downstairs was quite small. One of our relatives is "football" large and he didn't think he would fit in it. But all in all it was a great stay!!! Thanks. We will keep it in mind to rent again if we have a large group going!!! "The house is tucked away in an extraordinary setting on Brush Mountain and is an extraordinary space. The exterior features a cascading stream, valley-wide views, and a huge partially covered porch perfect for outdoor remote work or relaxation. The interior has soaring ceilings, wide plank floors, and lovely lighting and other touches throughout. Eric was a great and highly attentive host. I highly recommend it and will look forward to coming back."

"Probably the cleanest floors in any of the public places our family has stayed recently! The breezeway and front porch always seemed to be 10 degrees cooler despite the heat wave. Very clean pool with lockable gate. Lots of fresh linens. All of the appliances were very clean and well-maintained. Also appreciated the night lights throughout the house! Would definitely book again when we are in the area!"

"The house was beautiful and clean! I loved sitting on the deck watching my boys fishing! The house is perfect for a family retreat. We enjoyed our stay prior to moving our son back in at Susquehanna University. There is so much to do and see in the area. We will definitely be back!"
