"The Blue Heron is a wonderful property, rich with character and history. Our family truly enjoyed staying here while visiting our daughter’s college for Homecoming. "We had a great time at country view. The hosts were excellent and the house was beautiful. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was amazing. We loved watching the hummingbirds and butterflies on the beautiful flowers on the property. We would definitely stay here again. "

"This property was even better than the listing described it. We were a big group and had more than enough room for everyone with beds to spare. We couldn’t believe how well stocked the kitchen was. There was nothing we didn’t have. The property owner was so responsive to minor things and was kind and easy to work with. Pool area was amazing and the kids lived in it all week. Everything felt upscale and luxurious. Property was spectacular and beautiful. I can’t say enough great things. "

"Me and my friends just spent our New Year's here for two nights. The man cave lives up to its name-- we spent a good deal of the weekend playing pool, darts, and card games, used the grill, and were just a few blocks off from some great food and liquor stores. I'd imagine any sort of group would enjoy coming here, though, given other advantages like access to trails and monuments in historic PA. Everything worked just as we wanted it to, and Mary's filled out the space to create a great place...

"Gorgeous property, old farmhouse beautifully remodeled. No tv’s but we all had so much fun exploring the woods and fields and playing their games, no one missed it! Owner called to give us the code to get in. The master bedroom has a toilet and tub but no sink- there is a full bath in the hall. There is a second full bath on the main floor. "This house was a perfect place for our family as we came to the area for a local wedding. The Burd House allowed us a place for the young adults to stay. The kitchen is perfect for big family meals and the large firepit was utilized each night for relaxation and stores. The close proximity to a full service grocery store is an added bonus."
