"There is a reason this place has received nothing but perfect ratings! My partner and I stayed for two nights in February (14, 15th), over a long weekend. The place is spectacular for a quiet getaway. It's hard to beat watching marine wildlife from a hot tub--we saw seals, sea lions, harbor porpoises, and possibly even a sea otter (it was too dark to tell at that time). "We went after one of the worst storms in recent years. Host was great, making sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything. We really enjoyed our time. I think it's fair to say that anyone anytime will enjoy staying here. In the winter, you can hunker down there and enjoy peace and quiet by the ocean. Bus heats up very quickly. Shower works great. The design can accommodate 3 adults and a toddler. We'd love to stay here in the summer next time and for longer. "

"I loved the solitude of this property and the proximity to the beach. I would definately stay again for a shorter period. The lack of cell service and a strong internet connection was a problem for us. I appreciated the bbq, fire pit and comfort of the beds. I did really miss having a tub though. A hot tub would be a great addition. Pretty far from town but doable if you are there for peace and quiet and not concerned with proximity to amenities or work from home. "Spent our first night and husband and wife. Was nice to get away from the city without having to drive too much. No frills basic stay. No light pollution on the night of Perseids meteor shower made for some romantic star gazing. Mongolian yurts were interesting to see! Thanks for a nice stay!"

"Quiet, most of the traffic passing by were people walking their dogs. Comfortable, any problems with the sleeping accommodations were due to individual aging conditions.The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our meals in an alcove just off the kitchen, so easy to prepare and serve meals. "It's a beautiful little cabin in a gorgeous part of the world. The Ferry terminal, along with the amenities near the terminal (great coffee shop, bookstore, grocery/garage, and pizza place), are a very reasonable walk away. "

"The perfect place for us and our pooch! The place had everything we needed and then some. It is welcoming and comfortable - my only complaint is we could not stay longer! It's close to everything, yet quite private and quiet. The outdoor space and hot tub are wonderful. If you enjoy cooking, this place has everything you need, including a fresh herb garden! Highly recommend. "

"Was the first time staying at this property - I booked it as it was close to the venues I was attending over my two day stay - and I would definitely book again. I was a little concerned about the traffic noise, but has the evening progressed, the traffic decreased substantially. Room was clean and had all the amenities needed."
