"Dissapointing, unpleasant smell and a dated interior. Good location, but very dated, raw brick interior with an unpleasant smell inside the rooms. Online pictures of the property didn't match the reality. Interior of the rooms and bathroom had a dusty/mouldy smell, not I think from any lack of cleaning but more from the old fit out and build up of dust and damp in the exposed brick mortar and old grout joints between tiling. "We stayed here for the Australian Jazz Convention, it was close to the venues. The hotel itself was old and tired, the rooms needed updating, particularly the bathroom. There is an excellent bar and restaurant attached, but not part of the hotel."
