"Dissapointing, unpleasant smell and a dated interior. Good location, but very dated, raw brick interior with an unpleasant smell inside the rooms. Online pictures of the property didn't match the reality. Interior of the rooms and bathroom had a dusty/mouldy smell, not I think from any lack of cleaning but more from the old fit out and build up of dust and damp in the exposed brick mortar and old grout joints between tiling. "the old lift is beautiful. the room on the first floor was quite, no traffic noise. the staff were lovely. The room did have a little to much old dust that was also damp in areas that were not vacuumed. Edges of the carpet, the bed and cupboards that played up with my sinus. It may not effect a lot of people like it did for me. "

" Great old lady in pretty good nick. Stayed 4 days, large room with small table and chairs, the room could have fit in a few extra comfortable chairs or sofa to relax in rather than sitting on the bed to read, chat etc. Some rooms had a balconette with more comfy chairs, but not our room."
