"No directions via email were given to us but we managed to find the property. The name of the Villa wasn’t displayed so we didn’t know which one it was. The key doesn’t fit the front door properly and the owner was on in contactable so it was all a bit of a fraught start. Spoke to the owner two days later, who said that I had her landline number and not her mobile. Hence she didn’t reply when we couldn’t get into the property. Eine, von der aus man durch die hübschen Oleanderbüsche und Palmen zum Meer schauen konnte und eine andere, die nachmittags Schatten bot und einen sehr schönen Blick in die traumhafte Parkanlage mit unterschiedlichsten Blumen und Pflanzen bot. "The old house is very nicely renovated and decorated. We loved to spend our time there. Everything you need is there. The yard, the real living-room, is quite small, but very agreeable and has a nice atmosphere. Hostess Eleni is absolutely friendly and gave us a lot of advices for our trips and restaurants. In Kavoussi there are not to many tourists, so you feel as living in an authentic Kretian village. We are glad having found this accomodation and region for our holidays. . "

"Wi-Fi was down the entire time we were there. Not a huge deal but this was never disclosed to us until we asked. Seems like some information we could have be told up front. Bathroom was definitely not cleaned before our arrival. House is overall tired and needs some basic attention. Lots of lights that don’t work, shower was pretty dirty. Definitely more “rustic” than “traditional” The property is beautiful and we did enjoy our stay, just wish it was cleaner. "
