"We spent a week here and went out everyday sightseeing and to different beaches, with lots of walks! Kamilari has a nice feeling about it, very friendly locals, some great Tavernas and a very well stocked supermarket. Not forgetting The Blues bar for cocktails! Vangelis and Tanya are really lovely people and the house was perfect Tanya even made me a birthday cake for my 60th!!"

"The apartment amazing 3 doubles with 4th self contained with fridge and shower and lift perfect for me 85 year old mother. It was Christmas the host left us wine candles her sister in apartment across the hall brough local sweet cakes. Everything you can think of was provided including umbrellas, robes, special towels for jacuzzi all manner of plates glasses; an ice maker I loved the toiletries so much I bought a larger bottle in a chemist to take home. "Loved having all the space of the whole beautiful house. Outdoor seating was lovely though so many delicious restaurants right on the beach. Beds were comfortable with warm blankets on cool nights. Gorgeous stone work inside and out."

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"We cannot say enough positive things about the gardenia garden house. It was a wonderful location to explore the beaches and hiking spots around Chania, and experience the lovely culture of the people of Sternes. It is within 10 minutes of the airport but feels a world away. Comfortable furnishings surrounded by lemon and olive trees,herbs to cook with in its well equipped kitchen all made it a comfortable home for us. Hoping to return to this lovely spot!"

"Everything about this place was wonderful. The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful and meticulously well-maintained this place is. They clearly care about keeping it great shape, and it shows! Marina was very helpful with suggestions and advice. She welcomed us when we arrived and had brought us a basket of fresh fruit, which was very kind.
