"The location was amazing with lovely views of the country. However, we had real issues with the cleanliness of the property. The issues included cobwebs (in pretty much every room) dirty sheets including the cot, unscrubed loos and soaking wet lounger cushions that had been left out. Whilst an attempt had been made to clean the stair carpet it was clear that a duralex glass had been broken on the stairs as shards of glass were found not only on the stairs but also on the ground floor. "Always nice at Village Hotels. This was a disabled room, I was fine with that as it was a very nice clean room, however, the furnishing were so spartan, there wasn’t anywhere to put my case or anywhere for my wash bag in the bathroom. The gym on the 1st floor was clearly heard on the 2nd floor."

"The rooms were very nice, the staff were extremely accommodating, going out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was ok. The breakfast room is nice but there were some issues with replenishment of items in busy times. On check out there were some confusions about what had already been paid for via Expedia. It took a little while to sort out. "
