"A little "home away from home" with every convenience you would want! The New River is right in front of the house with views of surrounding mountains. We enjoyed the "jam sessions" of mountain music in nearby towns of Independence and Fries, VA. A tour of the Matthews working farm was a treat. Lots of things to do and places to eat. Highly recommend Fries Dam Steakhouse! Our host was very helpful. Want to go back and stay longer. Room for 6 sleepers. Just bring your toothbrush and clothes!!"

"This small secluded cabin was the perfect location for a family weekend with the pups. The property was scrupulously clean & beautifully decorated. We enjoyed walking the property, playing the games, and sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. We experienced some unprecedented difficulties due to a major hurricane striking the area during our stay, and both the property manager and the owner were a class act. I could not recommend this property more. "
