"This house is a perfect lake house with a beautiful view. The house was well stocked and quaint. The outdoor chairs had some dry rot and were torn, but we had extra chairs with us. The dock is spectacular and the fire pit was great at night. We brought firewood but they had plenty, as well. We were there for a Virginia Tech football game and it was about 45 minutes there, but nice to have a place to unwind afterwards. "Overall simple and clean cabin in the woods. Good communication from the host. The listing accurately depicts the cabin interior. The bed was comfortable, nice linens, and very clean. Like some others mentioned, it was a bit close to the neighbors so if you want total privacy its not the place for you. But we lucked out and the place was pretty empty. My only suggestions would be to add a picnic table (or something) on the large deck for outdoor dining (there is a table, no chairs). Also the...

"This small secluded cabin was the perfect location for a family weekend with the pups. The property was scrupulously clean & beautifully decorated. We enjoyed walking the property, playing the games, and sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. We experienced some unprecedented difficulties due to a major hurricane striking the area during our stay, and both the property manager and the owner were a class act. I could not recommend this property more. "

"We loved our long weekend here! The owners were very friendly and responsive. The property has everything you need and more. The biggest plus is its coziness. Between the open room and the great porch with pretty views of the lake, I finished a whole book. Kind of don't want to leave too good of a review because I want to keep it a secret! We WILL be back!
