"Large living spaces in this house, made getting ready for the wedding, easier for our bride & her 5-bridesmaids. Our driving distance to the wedding venue (KauriBay Boomrock Clevedon) was free of motorway traffic-troubles. Hotwater had to be turned on at external water tank. No shoes allowed to be worn inside helps keeps flooring cleaner. Floor tiles highly polished. One issue was, the property appeared to Not have been recently vacuumed (dead flies around). The host was very friendly and obliging and the apartment was spotless and had every amenity we needed. "Staff fantastic, warm, and friendly. Room was very nice and roomy. Clean and inviting. Shower was lovely and good water pressure. A little noise from the motor way but this was not hindering sleep. Beautiful breakfast on site. Close to grocery and other restaurants if you want other options from the Bistro, but this is lovely to. Recommend highly."

"Very convenient place to stay on arrival at Auckland Airport. Spotless apartment. Kitchen equipment adequate for simple food preparation. Maintenance was an issue: The shower rail was broken and the hose leaked so that water pressure in shower was not adequate. Carpet strips not fastened down properly - a trip hazard."

"The room was spacious, the hotel was quiet and easily accessible, and the waterfront views were beautiful if your room faced the water. The room also had a washer and dryer, which was very convenient."

"So convenient. The place served our needs for a nearby airport hotel. The staff was very friendly, communicative and answered all my questions. Water cooler to refill your water bottle was nice. I’d go back. We had two beds; a twin and a larger one. I took the small one. "

Holiday Inn Auckland Airport, an IHG Hotel

5/5 Excellent

"The hotel feels and looks like a resort. The staff is friendly and the service is great. We booked rooms with dinner included but checked in after the restaurant was closed due to a flight delay. The lady still managed to get us hot food for dinner through room service which gave the long day we've had a nice ending. The hotel has two floors but no elevator, they do offer to have the luggage brought up to 2nd floor which is nice. (we didn't need it.) The hotel is on the route of the Yellow bus from the airport which was convenient. "
