I asked for late checkout she agreed to 12:30, then called me at 11:10 saying I should have been out an hour before which would have been 10:10, but published checkout was 10:30. High quality bedding & amenities. loved the huge screened in porch with excellent views of the lake surrounded by woods. Very walkable little subdivision!Close to several great hiking areas like Buttermilk Falls, Hemlock Cliffs & O’Bannon State Park to name a few. Hosts are very caring and respond immediately!In all our years of using VRBO this sweet lodge is in our top two!"

"House was very clean minus the shower drain cover had a wad of hair. Definitely need to lock wheels on bed in bedroom. Every time you move the bed slides away from the wall or side to side. Don’t get me wrong it is a nice place to stay and well worth the . Owner is very easy to work with. Found out two days before travel that we were departing a day early and I was able to get the house a day earlier. Highly recommend!"

"Pictures did not do Justice to this beautiful Lakehouse. It is very roomy. Two living areas (one upstairs & one downstairs) both with Fireplace and large TV with plenty of seating. It lists 2 1/2 baths, however there is a jet tub in a separate room. So you have a steam shower in one full bath, the jet tub, a full bath with a tub/shower, and a 1/2bath. Two gorgeous large decks, one off the upstairs and one off the lower floor. Loved it and Janet the host was So patient and helpful, as I ask a lot...

"Husband and I had to be out of state on short notice and preferred to not stay in a hotel. Found this AMAZING getaway, close enough to where we needed to be, yet at the end of the day wonderful relaxing nights. Quiet, beautiful, best sleep I have had in years! Campfire at night and work up to deer and turkey visits in the morning. We will be back! "
