"I had a wonderful visit at the Portopia Hotel. My room had all of the toiletries I needed plus a set of pajamas and slippers. When I ordered room service, the staff came to my room to take my order. I would definitely recommend this hotel as an American visiting Japan. However, it is on Port Island so I had to tax in Kobe."

"コネクティングルームはとても快適に過ごせ、家族も喜んでおりました。 朝食も充実しており、満喫させていただきました。 1点だけ、駐車場代が聞いていた金額と異なっておりました。 伺っていたのは、入庫から24時間で3,000円、以降は30分ごとに500円とのことでした。 今回は4/1 5:28～4/3 12:44まで利用したので、 24時間×2＋7時間16分となり、高くても3,000×3で9,000円になるかと思っていましたが、実際の料金は15,900円でした。 ホテルの会員登録特典でサービス券を2枚頂いていたので、費用は軽減されて5,300円になりましたが、少し違和感が残りました。 事前精算機があれば、フロントに質問に行こうと思いましたが、駐車場の出口にしか精算機がないので、やむなく支払う形となり、そこだけ残念でした。 それ以外はとても満足しています。"

"Overall it was a nice hotel, the staff was excellent. Very helpful when we needed them. They have a restaurant available but we did not get to check it out. If you do laundry though just go to a Laundromat if there is one available. The dryers do not work very well and you will be wasting time/ money trying to get it done. There are restaurants and train station super close by. Just a warning though if you have big suitcases, we had a JR pass and could not use the one ground exit/entrance...

The room was small however we knew what we were signing up for and it worked for our needs.
