"This house is just an absolute perfect location for exploring the Rockland area. We stayed three weeks and the house never felt small or uncomfortable. The yard was wonderful for the kiddos, and we loved the couch and the views of the Rockland light. We would absolutely go back!"

"We've loved each of our five stays at the Owls Head Post Office over the past 10 years. Walking down Main Street to watch the lobster boats come in, running the Hendrickson's Point loop to Crescent beach, walking our dog at Birch Point, hiking Bald Mountain and the Camden hills, eating out at two of our favorite restaurants in the world (Primo and 18 Central), eating fresh seafood at home from Jess's, and reading on the porch, gazing at that beautiful garden -- it is such a treat."

The scenery is beautiful and my son was fascinated with the boats going in and out of the harbor. The hosts responded quickly to the few inquiries we had. This place would be great during any season! The one downside was that the fireplace was not working and there is no firepit outside."

"I traveled solo and it was the perfect respite. Check in is simple, Pilot welcomes you with a wagging tail and gives the grand tour. Having left my own furry friend at home, I was happy for his company. Furnishings are more updated than the photos show. I can't imagine anyone needing anything more than what this cottage provides. Mind your head when you climb the spiral staircase. I was grateful for the bluetooth speaker in the living room. This was a perfect solo stay, I'd recommend for couples too. You want for nothing here."
