"Have to say I panicked when I arrived. Cafe was closed and gates to hotel were locked. I was however before checking time. Later someone arrived and opened gate and told me cafe was exceptionally closed. Room was very big and comfortable. AC plus fan. Lots of hot water in shower. "Shannon was an excellent host. Nice breakfast each morning sat above the pool area. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable with daily maid service. A few minutes walk to the lively town and beach where all the action of Tamarindo is going on. The pool was great to cool down and relax in the hammocks and day beds under the shade. The bungalows are an excellent small, homely oasis to chill out and escape the corporate world. We would stay again with Shannon and her lovely staff. "

"The Casa Nahua is a little gem in Tamarindo. The room was fairly small, but clean and arranged sensibly. The bathroom was definitely recently updated and had a modern feel.
