"A fabulous small boutique hotel in a great central location for visiting major sights in Lyon. Hotel was clean , welcoming and tasteful . It is an " on demand " hotel as the staff put it so if you want water or kettle you have to request them and go and get them from reception. No frills or extras in the room , no slippers , dressing gown or fridge nor did we have a mirror in the room only one head and shoulders standard mirror in the bathroom which was a minor irritation. "Beautiful property in a quiet but convenient area. Lovely spacious rooms, which were impeccable. Real bonus to have the heated swimming pool in November. Staff were very gracious and accommodating. A few improvements to suggest: maybe some hotel and area information in the rooms would be good; the ‘international TV channels’ advertised aren’t accessible (not an issue for us, but some people may be expecting these); reorganisation of the breakfast area - it’s a stunning setting but quite chaotic...

"Great location. Very central to every place of interest. We like to walk to see everything. We walked from the Rhone Express to the hotel (got a Uber) on the way back. 30 to 35 mins walk. Breakfast if very good. Caution when arriving. The main photo is the Theatre, not the hotel! We walked straight past the hotel as did another couple we saw looking for the hotel the following day. "

"We liked Boscolo Hotel. It is a nice hotel and the room was nice. The location is good too. The staff are friendly and receptive at check in. But I wouldn’t say this is a five star hotel and we didn’t feel like we got exceptional service or anything. We sat in the big lounge for about 20 min and no body came to take our drink order so we left. So good location, nice rooms but not what I would call 5 star. "
