"We loved our stay. The house has everything you need - including k-cups and creamer! Parking was super easy in back or on the street right in front - we walked everywhere! We loved the beautiful historic homes all around us. Be aware that you must walk through one bedroom to get to the other (and then those 2 bedrooms share a bathroom) - no big deal for families, but perhaps 2 couples may find this awkward. Owner was very kind. We would definitely stay here again."

"Had a quick & detailed response each time I had a question prior to our arrival, home was perfect for our family of adults (20’s- 80’s) & conveniently located to everything. Loved all the chairs on covered porch. The only request would be to please replace the large rug in the primary BR downstairs - this is a pet friendly property & it has seen better days. "Overall we enjoyed our stay at the property. Most of us had never been to Carolina Beach and was a little shocked when the locals did not come across as being very friendly. We were there for a wedding so there was music and loud conversations that we shut down just before midnight on a Friday. Police came out twice, the second time most of us were already in bed. It felt a little like racial profiling. All in all though the wedding was beautiful and that's what mattered most. friday night...

"We had an amazing time staying at Emily‘s house. Each duplex had five bedrooms and four baths, and had great views of the lake and park. The house was centrally located to the beach for surf fishing, as well as walking to the mini outstanding local restaurants. Will definitely stay again in the near future."
