"The house and surroundings are fine, and we enjoyed the opportunity to swim and play in the river and walk in the mountains. The market in the next village of Sainte Croix is fun. The house was very clean. The bedrooms are OK, the downstairs room could do with some comfortable furniture. And the owner had left absolutely nothing - not even salt and pepper or a bit of vinegar and oil - for us when we arrived. Some protection against the many flies (door hangings or screen) would have been useful,...

"Wow what an amazing property, pool and the location. It was just perfect for us. The owner is very kind and welcoming and allowed us to charge our Tesla EV in her garage, which made a big difference as we didn’t need to factor in stops to charge on day trips. Despite the pool not being heated, the hot weather meant the pool was warm enough after the initial plunge. Our kids spent hours in the pool. The property is a 7km/10mins drive to Les Vans which has a couple of big supermarkets and loads...

"Nous avions loué les trois gîtes pour avoir un espace suffisant et nous avons particulièrement apprécié le gîte principal avec la cheminée qui s'est avérée bien utile car nous avons eu une météo médiocre, ce qui nous a malheureusement empêchés d'utiliser la piscine trop froide. Les g^tes sont correctement équipés et Christophe, le propriétaire, nous a réservés le meilleur des accueils. L'endoit est particulièrement bien situé en Ardèche pour les balades en moto, ce qui était notre objectif...

"This old stone house is built up against a cliff in the Tarn River Gorge, a place of exceptional beauty. We stayed in early spring and enjoyed the fresh greenery, bird songs and the occasional fox sighting. It's very secluded yet convenient to town and exploring the area. The house has a well equipped kitchen, good lighting, a comfy sofa for evenings and a very good bed. The porch offers a fine view of the river and canyon and is great for eating out. Clare and Alex have worked hard to make this a five-star experience, and we appreciate their hospitality."
