"The house and surroundings are fine, and we enjoyed the opportunity to swim and play in the river and walk in the mountains. The market in the next village of Sainte Croix is fun. The house was very clean. The bedrooms are OK, the downstairs room could do with some comfortable furniture. And the owner had left absolutely nothing - not even salt and pepper or a bit of vinegar and oil - for us when we arrived. Some protection against the many flies (door hangings or screen) would have been useful,...

Die Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich und das gesamte Apartment ist stilvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Außenanlagen ist ebenfalls traumhaft. "The property was stunning and exceed expectations from the listing. The location is quite and secluded but not to far from towns. The pool was beautiful to relax around. "Très bon séjour dans cette maison nichée dans les collines cévenoles, état impeccable (la maison est encore mieux que sur les photos), très fonctionnelle et confortable, piscine agréable, à 15mn en voiture de toutes les commodités. Pour les amoureux de nature et de calme ! Propriétaires charmants et aux petits soins. Seul bémol : si vous avez une voiture électrique, les bornes de recharge sont à 20km (pas en service à Saint Jean du Gard), déplacements à anticiper."

"Das Haus liegt in einer tollen Lage, in einem ruhigen kleinen Weiler oberhalb von Pont du Montvert. Es ist sehr hell mit schönem Balkon und Terrasse und toller Aussicht. An Ausstattung ist alles da, aber vielleicht könnte das ein oder andere Küchenutensil einmal erneuert werden, z.B der Toaster. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, dennoch finden wir den Mietpreis sowie den Preis für die Endreinigung zu hoch."

"This villa is very well equipped. Comfortable beds. Spacious rooms.Not always possible to find an en suite on the ground floor for a 92 year old! Quiet location. Beautiful scenery. The only slight annoyance, no towels, so come prepared! Luckily our friends living nearby provided us with them! Would recommend this villa which has the bonus of a swimming pool, for the warmer weather, boules area and table tennis space. Thank you Jean Michael Michaud for providing a welcoming home!! "

The house is equipped for a holiday stay (no bath towels but hand & tea towels + bath mats provided - don't know if this is a French thing). Both showers are large and powerful.
