I have two comments about our room (8) - the pillows were a bit lumpy and if we had occasion to stay again, I’d request not to stay in this room because of the two steep steps down into the bathroom. Younger folk may have no problem with them but being that much older and having creaky knees, it wasn’t easy to negotiate them. Thankfully there was a very sturdy rail to hold onto. It lists itself as a 4* hotel and that is why I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars as it doesn’t have the facilities you expect of a hotel - staffed reception desk, bar, restaurant etc - but is a very pleasant B&B. "Property was perfect for the price. Clean and welcoming. Shower was nice and the bed was comfortable. I was able to get in touch with the management on arrival. Tap in the ensuite was cold and despite running for a while, did not produce hot water. The building was subject to some noise pollution and you could clearly hear other guests in other rooms. Other than that, I would book again."

"A really lovely place to stay for a night in Ripon. The room was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious but don't expect 'traditional' choices, as it is an Italian restaurant - no Weetabix here much to a fellow guest's disappointment! Some outside noise, as it is roadside but it quietened down and was a peaceful nights sleep. Members of staff were all lovely. All in all a highly recommended place to stay. "

"Always great when we stay at the little hide. We have been a few times just me and my fellas little getaway. Its our peace place with out the kiddies. Lovely and quite this time of year. Was on the cold side with the weather but the heater in the pod was amazeing at keeping you toastie. The only down fall for me was the magpie that seemd to haunt me whilst there hahaha. Really funny.
