"A lovely private get away if you need to unwind and relax this is the place , cosy and warm , bed comfy and outdoor space amazing with hotub and garden area . My only compliant is lack of storage for own food but guess it is a sherpards hut , we will return it's just what we needed after a busy Christmas"

"The lodges are very well designed and attractive with good amenities, however it could do with a lot of TLC, the walls were all marked/scuffed, everywhere needed a good paint job. Wasn’t the cleanest of properties with debris on the floor downstairs which I hoovered up. Bedrooms neat and tidy with fresh bedding and towels. Jacuzzi was lovely and well maintained. Just a little more time spent on cleaning and maintenance and it would have been percect"

"We stayed in Tuilip Lodge for 4 nights as a little break visiting relatives in the locality. The lodge was bigger than expected and we loved the quiet countryside location There is a steep driveway up to the top of the hill it was worth it for the views. We explored the local area around Llangollen, Shrewsbury and had a day out to Chester which was about 50 minutes drive away. There are also plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby which saved cooking! "This property was the second one in this complex we stayed in. It was much nicer and had a more modern feel however it’s not in the luxury’ category. Heaters worked really well. The mattress was narrower than the frame so was very cramped for two people. The grout in the shower could have been cleaner and there was mould around the edge.
