Exôtico Beach & Rooms

3.0 star property

"Magical place amongst the trees and only a very short wander to the beach. Monkeys swinging during the daytime and frogs only a quick search away at night. It’s a small hotel with most rooms looking out at the pool area. Relatively thin walls but we didn’t mind waking up early on this trip. 2 or 3 nights would perfect if visiting without a car as taxis need to come from Puerto Viejo for trips further afield. Almost faultless however our only criticism would be that dietary requirements...

"Its was terrible. The only highlight was the girl that was working at the office. The place is nasty. We were there for 4 night and they charged us double price ! My friend was staying there and he only paid a little amount. There music very loud and people a screaming at 8-9 am. Manzanillo is very far of puerto viejo ai you must have a car or rent a bike. Dont pay 100$ for this ! "

Beautiful House 2 blocks from beach with AC

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"We loved staying here! Lots of space in the house, strong AC and wifi. TV with youtube for the kids when they need some down time. I saw most of the birds on my trip right from the porch. Manzanillo is a perfect small beach town with kind people who help you and call someone from their phone if you need it. Family values are strong here and the community is a tight one. Check out Wild Ginger for a medicinal plant walk, cooking class or coconut oil making workshop! We want to come back already."

Casa Cuculeka in Manzanillo

"You live on the first floor, completely open, with plenty of space, in the middle is a large kitchen and bar where we spend our time, or lying in the hammocks. 3 separate bedrooms with own bathroom. I love the design and simplicity and the materials of the house!"
