"Property well equipped,everything you need is there, nice large apartment, bedrooms are particularly spacious, and comfortable beds. You need a car for this complex as at least a mile walk into the port, ok for fit youngsters but as pensioners too hard for us, as all uphill, but we knew this prior to booking unfortunately all pools were closed due to a water shortage. One issue is there are no instructions in the apartment, and being English they would have been extremely useful, although...

"Our 5 night stay at Villa Vista Mar with my 2 teenagers and Mum was perfect. The view is stunning day and night . The pool and fully air conditioned villa provided welcome respite from the August heat when needed and the patio furniture enabled family card games and al fresco dining in the early evening. We will definitely stay again."

"The apartment itself is first class and the sea views excellent The location is poor in that you have to cross the busy A7 road to walk to the two restaurants which are nearby. Also there were huge amounts of uncollected rubbish which had been deposited outside of and adjacent to the designated bins.I have a picture of this and it would not be something you would expect to see when looking out of the apartment"

"The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, and very well furnished and equipped. Everything that we wanted, or reasonably could have wanted was already in the apartment. The apartment benefits from being on the hillside about 1km inland from the main coast road, so is relatively quiet and peaceful and has fabulous, panoramic views of the sea, Gibraltar, and across to Africa. When we checked in the lady who handed over the keys gave us a comprehensive guide to local supermarkets and places to eat...

"The apartment was pretty much what we expected however for our entire eight day stay we had no heating for the colder mornings, late afternoons and evenings.The Managing Agents tried their best to get the owner to repair it who refused even though the agents heating engineer confirmed a new compressor was needed when first advised in the summer.Selfishly happy to take our money, renter beware. "
